Griffiths & Armour Supports the NSPCC in 2024

13 December 2024

Throughout 2024, the team at Griffiths & Armour has taken part in various volunteering activities to raise much-needed funds for our chosen charity, the NSPCC.

The NSPCC is the UK’s leading children’s charity dedicated to preventing child abuse and protecting children from harm. Christmas is often a busy time for the NSPCC, including their Childline service, which on average receives a call every 45 seconds on Christmas Day.

To support children at what can be a difficult time of year, Griffiths & Armour has taken part in the Race to Lapland with 21 colleagues volunteering to work together to cover an incredible 2,774km. The wider team also donated toys and raised £1,000 for children in the local area as part of NSPCC’s Annual Toy Appeal.

These activities have supported our year-long efforts to raise money for the NSPCC,  coinciding with Griffiths & Armour’s 90th Anniversary. This landmark year has seen the team take part in a Childline Sports Day, volunteer at the NSPCC Hargreaves Centre and tackle a 20km Wirral Coastal Walk.

Simon Keenan, Partner and Managing Director, General Insurance Division said:

“We are incredibly proud to support the NSPCC and its vital work in protecting children across the UK.  I’d like to extend a huge thank you to everyone in the team who has participated in our diverse volunteering activities and to those who have made such generous donations throughout 2024.

It’s been a pleasure to see our 90th Anniversary year marked by our team’s meaningful contributions, and we look forward to continuing our support for the NSPCC.”

We are proud to support the NSPCC in its mission to safeguard children in the UK today and prevent abuse for a better tomorrow.
