Global Risk Changes

The World Economic Forum has recently released its 2025 edition of its Global Risks Report. The report is based upon a global risks perception survey completed by over 900 risk experts and over 11,000 business leaders from around the world.

Key themes of this year’s report are:

  • Declining Optimism
  • Deepening geopolitical and geoeconomic tensions
  • A growing sense of societal fragmentation
  • Environmental risks – from long-term concern to urgent reality
  • Technological risks – still ‘under the radar’
  • The time to act is now – is consensus possible in a fragmenting world?
