Our history
Founded by Kenneth Griffiths and George Armour in Liverpool, Griffiths & Armour opened its doors on October 1, 1934. After leaving the Royal Insurance Company, they recognised a gap in the market for non-marine broking and took the initiative to fill it.
Starting with a focus on commercial and industrial brokerage, the business soon grew to include Professional Indemnity insurance in its offering. From the very beginning, we have been dedicated to consistently delivering the highest standards for our clients.

Multi-storey car parking is available a 5-minute walk away from our Liverpool office. SatNav L3 1QZ. On exiting the car park on foot, cross the white pedestrian bridge towards the River Mersey and our office is located to the right.
By Rail
There are three national rail stations located close to our office. Liverpool Lime Street Station is approx 25 mins walk or a short taxi ride to the office. Moorfields and James Street stations are each approximately 10 minutes walk away.

There are multiple tube and national rail stations located close to the office.
Bank (Northern, Central, Waterloo & City lines, Docklands Light Railway), is a 7 minute walk away. Liverpool Street (Central, Circle, Metropolitan, Hammersmith & City lines and main line services), a 9 minute walk.
Monument (Circle, District lines) and Fenchurch Street (main line services) are both 8 minutes away on foot.

The NCP car parks closest to the office are Manchester Chorlton Street, SatNav M1 3FY (6 minute walk) and Great Northern Warehouse, SatNav M3 4EE (10 minute walk).
By Rail
Manchester Piccadilly and Manchester Victoria stations are each approximately 15 minutes walk away or 10 minutes in a taxi. The closest tram stops are located in St Peters Square or Piccadilly Gardens - each a six minute walk away. If you are arriving into Manchester by rail or by air, both national rail stations provide a tram route from the station or airport to St Peters Square via the Altrincham, Eccles, Media City and Manchester Airport tram lines.
