Matt Donnelly appointed new chairman at Assurex Global

Griffiths & Armour insurance brokers are delighted to announce the appointment of its managing director, Matt Donnelly, to the position of chairman at Assurex Global, the world’s largest privately held commercial insurance, risk management and brokerage group.

Matt, who has over 30 years’ experience in international risk management and insurance, has been a partner here at Griffiths & Armour since 2001 and was appointed as managing director of their General insurance division in 2003. In 2015 Matt became a founding director of GAWS of London, the Lloyds International Wholesale broker which is a joint partnership between Griffiths & Armour and Woodruff Sawyer in California. Matt will continue in his current roles whilst also taking up the new position of chairman at Assurex Global.

Commenting on his appointment, Matt Donnelly said:
