Professional Indemnity Insurance for Engineers

Griffiths & Armour has a close association with the engineering profession that stretches back to 1945. This experience allows us the detailed understanding necessary to place effective and reliable cover for many leading firms of consulting engineers in the UK and Ireland today.

Engineers PI Insurance

Our role as the appointed Professional Indemnity (PI) insurance adviser to a number of professional institutes and trade associations (including: the Association for Consultancy and Engineering (ACE); the Association for Consulting Engineers Ireland (ACEI); Engineers Ireland; and the Institution of Structural Engineers (IStructE)), allows us to retain an informed insight of contemporary and forthcoming risk considerations.

We work closely with engineers and their representative bodies, both locally and internationally, being affiliate members of EFCA and FIDIC. This allows us to actively support positive action on the professional liability and insurance issues affecting the consultancy and engineering sector. We strongly believe that this work is central to the creation of a more equitable liability framework for consultants and a more sustainable insurance market locally and globally, underpinned by our day-to-day risk management service offered to all our clients in the engineering sector.

Our contractual risk management service is widely acknowledged in the construction and insurance industries for its informed, pragmatic and highly effective approach. It forms an integral part of our service and comes at no additional cost to our clients.
